Wheel Building by soe-velotech

At our predecessor company, Ginkgo Veloteile, we built and sold wheels since 2010. Our specialties are wheels and complete wheelsets for recumbent bikes, trikes, velomobiles, handcycles, children's bikes, cargo bikes, kick scooters, and folding bikes.

We will continue this legacy at soe-velotech.

Thanks to the wide variety of rims we stock, we can, in most cases, equip front and rear wheels with identical rim profiles, even for bikes with different wheel sizes (e.g., cargo bikes, velomobiles). We maintain a broad range of spokes and can also equip very small wheels with special spokes (e.g., aero or double-butted spokes).

Our wheels are built to customer specifications and are fully measured upon completion. All relevant data, such as radial and lateral runout, spoke tension, and the components used, are recorded in the wheel test report. This report is provided to the customer along with their new wheelset. In addition, each wheel is marked with a unique serial number. This number is engraved in the rim bed near the valve hole. This allows us to guarantee the availability of spare parts (replacement spokes, etc.) even years later.

All delivered wheels come equipped with suitable rim tape at no extra charge.

You are also welcome to supply your own components. We will advise you and complete your rims or hubs with the appropriate components to build durable and long-lasting wheels for you.
